Some pictures from last year
« on: August 16, 2014, 11:07:01 AM »
Better late than never, I suppose.
Some pictures of the latter stages of my rebuild, if I can get them to work this time!

Looking good, I may have missed previous posts, but what engine is going in?

It's the original 650 that came with the car, no mods just striped, cleaned, checked (crank & bearings etc.) fitted with new piston rings, valves removed reground and shoved back in. Then reassembled with all new gaskets and clutch and put back in the car.

Oh ok, my mistake, I thought I saw a new subframe for different engine.

Looking at what your doing there...Socially, it's a shame 126 owners don't live in the same area, thinking of the practical help, skills that could be passed around/learnt from others.

Yes Andy I quite agree about the scattered nature of our interest group, think what we could achieve by pooling all our individual skills and expertise! Not to mention better access to surplus spares most of us have collected over the years.
