Soft roof top to hard top project

I am in the process of wanting to make a hard top to replace the material mainly for winter months.  Before I start I really want to know if the 500's soft roof and hole is the same as the later 126 deville model.  Anyone have any ideas about this?? Also anyone on here made any attempt to make a hard  top to slot on?

I have tried fitting a deville canvas to a 500 and it doesn't fit.
The 500 has a slight curve to the front where the 126 has a straight edged front.
If you were looking to buy one of the hard tops for a 500 to fit the 126 then it might work, but you would have to have it in front of you to know for sure.
