Thought i'd drop a line. The bodywork is finished and is ready for puttying, though that'll come later before the respray. I will get photos it's just that i need to make some room in the stable to get any worthwhile shots. I thought i would also put in a little rant: i'm finding it fairly difficult to get parts to the 126. i thought there would be more new parts available at a more afforable price here in eastern europe but it seems that the 126's are going out of fashion here as well.
I'm onto the front suspension. Have everything for it (bushes, ball joints, wheel bearings, shock absorbers etc) just need to get the right hand side kingpin changed. I couldn't find a left hand wheel hub so i bought a renewed one (b****y expensive). I've taken off the leaf springs and will pull that apart as well.
Just thought i'd also ask you guys  how difficult is it to get parts for the 126's in the UK? I wouldn't've expected to pay the amount i've already paid for the parts.
Anyway, the suspension on the car will be  [-/

Finally got round to taking photos last night. I know they're not that good , but there just isn't enough space in there. I know the paint job and welding looks messy, but it will be repsprayed and the  holes and bumps caused by the welds will be filled in and will be smooth.
The wheelarches and places that were sanded down on the chassis were painted and got covered with underbody spray.

The suspension has been fully restored, i only need to adjust the wheel bearings, tighten all the nuts when the car will be lowered and the rear left brake line (on the trailing arm) has to be replaced.

Interior work: front inner wheel arches, inner sill and the plate where the shock absorber bush sits had fallen out (rotted away). The white stuff is  acryilic sealant.

The top two spring leafs were broken, so i got a complete one from the wreckers and replaced the top two. Unfortunetly i couldn't get any of those plastic sheets that go between the leaves or new brackets or the bolt with the rubber top that holds the whole thing in the middle either. Each leaf was sanded, and greased thoroughly with graphite grease.

Resprayed fuel tank (top looks c**p but the bottom part of the tank looks better), starter motor is pulled apart and will need two bearings and the rubber that covers the arm that pulls in the cog wheel.

The left hand side turned out to be better than the right. I really don't have that much space and the floor is dirt and sand not concrete...
