Air cooled 500/126 Two cylinder, 8 valve twin-cam, Injection, Toothed belts, Oil cooler, Electric extractor fan, Extractor exhaust could even be dry sumped?  ;D

looks awsome.

great engenering has gone into making this engine. i woneder how much power it makes and whati internals it has.

 I was thinking exactly the same :o. How much power?

 Must have cost a lot of moneys to build something like that. You can buy everything in Italy for these cars, but some of the prices are out of this world.

There's a guy in holland that puts alfa romeo heads on them.
They become watercooled ofcourse but his engine is beautiful. He build eight years on it. It has to be on youtube somewhere

No , he uses the aircooled 650 casing and cranck. The rest is hand build an milled. Never met the guy btw. But it says so in the commends. The rest of his uploaded videos are cnc milling videos, so he probably makes everything himself.  If only i had a quarter of his skills...... my engine sports 2 400 cc aircooled beetle cylinders , its set up but not running at the moment. Better to be safe than sorry. First make my oilcooler work

What mods have you carried out to fit the 400cc beetle cylinders, my son is very interested in this mod for one of our spare engines.  Any info or specs would be appreciated.
