Hi all

Great to find a club for these beloved miniature vehicles, I wish this site was around years ago when I was really fiddling with mine

I've just dug her back out of the garage to get her going again & running into a few small mechanical issues already. It's an NCF Blitz kit car from circa 1998, the wiring loom & running gear are from an earlier 1970's 126 with cable controlled starter motor & the small dash pod with a single dial. This was upgraded with a 1980's 650cc air-cooled engine that we rescued from a local scrap yard. The donor car was rotten and the engine had been stripped of most of the essential bits already so we've given it a new lease of life. It's been uprated with skimmed & ported cylinder head, CSC/Abarth exhaust, twin output coil & a much better carburettor from a Kawasaki KLR250. Hopefully pushing out a few more than 24hp now.

Do you have bilstein dampers in front?

I am unsure what the dampers are, they are possibly gas. The front is still leaf sprung (with the middle one removed to soften the ride) and the rear assisted by large rubber blocks called spring assisters that prevent it bottoming out.
