I don't think that's standard though.
I pull it gently by the door pocket. Or if the window is open use the top of the door.

I use the door pockets. It's funny to see how passengers look for a way to close the door. Sadly they often use the door handle, which is probably not so good for the mechanics.

There's a guy in Turkey who's put on what seems to be a proper-looking door attachment:
I imagine it acts as an arm rest too!
