Post by: 126dave on October 03, 2006, 07:40:04 PM
along with my carb mounts,i could not resist the steel (deeply chromed) open shift gate from nanni.........so,gone is the scaby rubber boot, replaced by a Ferrari-esq shift gate.........sooooo very tasty guys

just thought id post to recommend the item from NANNI RICAMBI    :D

Dave

They look fantastic, adds a touch of class to the interior, the only problem I found with them is that the hot air from the heater leaks through the gate.

I dont have a heater at the mo so I am going to re fit mine soon.

I bought one of those a while back. They look great, the only problem with mine is that i can never seem to get my gearstick to align correcly in it. I have tried adjusting the bolt on the side of the gear linkage, to no avail. I think i may be needing a new linkage though as there is a lot of play with the gear stick and it wobbles an waful lot. Where can one buy a complete gear shift linkage/remote?

should have added, the gate is fitted 9mm forward, and 4mm to the right to suit my mid mounted gear shift, and today i added a piece of rubber sheet(slit cut in the shift pattern) to blank off the hole that is left, that sorts the de mister prblm...........
