Brake disk conversion for 12s

(1/1)

Kingy_4:
Hi all,
First post, almost certainly already been answered before but I can't seem to find it.
I'm in the process of restoring a 1973 126, the end plan is a hyper 9 electric motor (please don't murder me purists).
I am therefore after some more stopping power, it is on 12 inch banded steels bolted to a much later set of hubs 1990s (again, sorry purists)
My question is what disk upgrade (off the shelf or diy) can I fit under 12s? most seem to need 13 inches?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Pete126:
Seeing your not putting the 126 back to factory specifications I'd just go for 13" wheels

Bar Vitelli:
I’m a purist but I’ll forgive you (or at least not condemn you!) if you post some pictures!

1973 is a special year for our cars, it would be great to know a bit more about the car, how you came across it, what colour it is, any history!

 :good:

Hi
I am looking to do same thing
I am looking at this.
Approx £200 if I do not have to pay Vat but will have to pay import duty - I think
