You can get on the track sessions for next to nothing with us well Ã‚Â£30.00 on the day that is.. so two free enty = Ã‚Â£20.00 get on the track for Ã‚Â£10.00

Performance Car Action Day
Saturday 21st of April
If its road legal, has four wheels and an engine chances are it will be eligible for our Performance Car Action Day. Displays from some of the largest performance clubs, stands with lots of tuning parts and accessories and you have the reason why this day is so popular. Look out for trophies for the best car and best club stand of the show. Open to anyone with a suitable car and current driving licence. All drivers must attend a safety briefing, helmets are compulsory (these can be hired on day), seat belts must be worn, arms and legs must be covered, cars must be silenced to 100 dba and must be to MOT safety standards. Safety is paramount and full track and safety rules will be sent with all tickets and are available on the day from the Organisers Office.

This is the event members and the time has now come to get planning and get the cars in to gear and get ready for Action Day 21 April 2007. If you are planning on getting on to the rebels stand please pm Sandy with the following details:

We now have a second stand
FOR A FREE ENTRY TICKET WE WILL NEED

1- A drivers licnse will be required for any track time. please ensure you have one or no play on track!!
2- Make , model, and reg of your car
3- Address to send free entry ticket to. This will be kept confidential.!! The cut off date for getting your name on the list is 28 February 2007 to ensure we get a stand. we will need to get the stand application in by a given deadline to ensure this.
4- Also Claire has kindly offered to get all the drinks for the day. If you can kindly bring an item of food ie crisps or something would be greatly appreciated by one and all. Also if you book your guest's entry tickets via internet on the Castle Comb Website , it will be 8.00 pound or on the day it will cost you 10.00 pound. You may not need to do this as I may be getting extra free tickets I will keep you all up date.

There will also be Free Hot dogs and Burgers for members on the club Stand so we will need to know numbers that are coming , also any car is welcome on the Club Stand. you also don't have to go out on the track unless you want to that is. :lol:

We are also there for the Eurofest event and have two stands booked as we are all trackday mad on our forum you are also more than welcome to come and join us on our stands..

The display area will be divided in to relevant sections i.e., German, French, Italian and British manufacturers to make it more user friendly for owners clubs and for visitors alike. This event looks likely to be a major success in the Action Day Calendar.

Its really quite up and coming down there, i was there only for a few hours the other day and found it really nice, i hadnt been since i was a small child (those were the days), southampton and portsmouth on the other hand are in need of alot development though.

i hope we can do some sort of run this summer along the sea front,
i was wanting to do the classic car show on IOW. Would you be interested Barry? i paid Ã‚Â£80 last summer to go over on the ferry with my BIS, do you think that will put people off?

I work there and see all sorts of things, many local people have moved away. true its been redeveloped nicley and during the day you would think its fine, also there are more things to do at night now, but at a price. Ã‚Â£80 for the IOW, thats outrageous, you can get to France for half that! TBH, I tend to mainly do the Italian themed shows, apart from Uxbridge as its more my thing, seen far too amy MGs and Minors for my liking now :lol: Am doing Brooklands, Standford Hall, either in Panda or 126. Might make Gaydon too.

wightlink do 'special offers' and you can usually get a family of four over with a car for about Ã‚Â£28 :cool:
......although i guess it depends how long you stay.

and yes....the scooter rallies are mad in summer. Great fun to see so many in such a small place, but it can be a bit hectic on the roads. :roll:

Verdun is a an odd place to visit,gives me the shivers...............come to think of it so do omaha utah gold etc etc etc.......you truly walk with the dead in those places.......................

She gets through cars pretty quick (3 beetles, a spitfire, the 126 and now a mk1 mr2 amongst others) she is only 20!

That 126 didnt look too bad from the pic.

my mates gf has a beetle, not driven it yet though, hoping i willget a go soon, i love the fact the windscreen is right up against your face in the beetle.

I didnt drive the beetles much but i love driving the mr2. Its a nice change to drive a car with a 0-60 of 8 seconds rather than 8 minutes! hehe. I still think the 126 is super fun though, especially on a field! Cant wait to improve the engine a bit when i have money, it will make it even more fun!
