....paint,a good one to use is ''plasti coat ' (b an q do it,) enamel,thats on mine,doesnt chip or scratch and is easy to apply/change colour.
IMHO its worth paying a bit more and doing some refurb for these rims,hardly any(if any) of the bling rims out there are magnesium,and weight is the biggest enemy of the GO-FASTER 650 126,the 5 1/2 j x 13''cd 11 is also lighter than the standard rim,on four wheels,i reckon it gives me another 1 'virtual' BHP.
also rolling resistance is a factor,thats why I only have 165 tyres (you can still get the ''chunky'' look when its lowered) the car handles well with standard sizes,so i dont think it needs much wider,in fact even the 165's make it more liable to spin in the wet.......and i also check pressures as much as i do on my bikes.
