(hence why you had to ask the question....   )

had to replace the file lines today as mine where shot so I decided to get some braided hoses (£47 later...) but it now runs and starts on the button - not bad for a car that hasnt been run in anger in nearly 2 years!!!

as the originals had broken or entirely dissapeared one of the many more jobs I have to do to finish the car is-

BUMpstops

I bought a set of powerflex universal bumpstops for about £35 for the set of 4-they are smaller and a great deal stiffer than the originals and then fitted them -

the fronts where a simple bolt in affair-

the rears howevers required a captive bolt to be welded which in esscense is fine but the passenger side bumpstop is about 6 inches from the fuel tank (blue thing at the bottom of the following pic) so I covered the fuel tank in wet towels then put some steel in front to stop any fires (fire extinguisher was on hand too.. Im abit cautious after the last fire)-

and then could just bolt them in-

(Ive also got all the lights working and fitted the NOS window frames to the car and made a start on the door soleniods)

tomorrow If i can get  the suspension arms off I'm gonna finally dial in some negative camber into the front end!!!!
