Whats the highest milage 126 you have ever seen?

my 1976 aircooled has 97.5k on the clock stillg oes well touch wood, (trip up to yorkshire next week)

126fan (martin) said he has a 126 that did, 110,000 miles!!! before it packed up.

I saw a BIS on ebay the other day which had done 115k miles.

68000 on my bis, and still runs well

a chap near me had a Bis from new which did 120,000 before the rust finally killed it.

blimey, thats the most ive ever heard of, ok 120k is the rcord so far, ad it would have gone on for longer if it wanst for the dam rust!

just goes to show then Barry bis engines can be good if maintained well

120k on the speedo is one thing.........how many steam engines did it go through to record that milage?

40k is good mileage!

i would rather buy a 126 with higher milage as these tend to be the more reliable ones, they have been maintained, and like anything mechanical they have to be used or go start to have problems.

i would change the oil as often as you can afford to, and fit a few filter before the pump, and get the king pins greased every couple of months or so.
