Head bolts
« on: April 19, 2021, 06:10:18 PM »
Hello I am having a nightmare with this car at the moment. I think I am missing bolts from the bottom head (I haven't got a clue what I have done with them :$) if so does anyone know what size they are.

The studs you posted are for the head (yellow in picture) your looking for the 2 long X 1 short (red) if anyone has any spares for the Bis engine

Is this for a Bis engine or an aircooled engine?

I'm sure you or some friends have some old metric bolts hanging about find one that screws into the block easy by hand then take it to a hardware store to get the correct pitch of threaded bar + nuts (B&Q) cut the bar oversize but remember to add a thin washer and nut to the length , cut off the excess leaving 2 threads proud of the nut.

NO the three nuts/bolts (Red Arrows) just nip the gasket up to stop oil leaks, hand tight or torque to 4 DNm
