theres a very fine line between rat look and b*ll*xed methinks.... :D
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

The Rat look is just another name for laziness. I've had loads of rat look cars.

Oooh totally disagree. Rat look can really look great. Have a look under the bonnet of some of them.
It is about the fine balance.

That's a rather bold statement for one to make on a forum such as this?
I always though this was the FIAT 126 club forum and not the "i have a shiny Ferrari 126 forum" i shall have to remember not to be so lazy towards my car in the future...... ;)

Still, worth restoring as its 1958 N, series 1 if im not mistaken?

Quite a number of cars on your friends website belong to friends of mine. I got into cars and retro/classic stuff through 'rat look' and being 'different'. No rat in my 500, the cat sleeps in it...

That 500 has about average rust I think  ::)
'84 aircooled 126 & 500F still in kit form
Not the only African in the village :)
