Hello,

My friend and I have just bouht a Fiat 126, are there any places that do body panels etc ?

We are also going to drop a 1.6 or 2.0 litre bettle engine in, does anyone have any sites that maybe able to help us with this. ?

Most of the panels are still available try to find a veng stockist I think they still do panels and they are usually a good fit! What panels are you after?
Regarding the vw conversion unabe to help you on this one, not heard of it being done so probably very difficult!
Few cars converted using high powered bike motors this is probably your best option

Cheers guys. I think we are gonna go with the VW beetle engine in the fiat. We are going to use it as a 1/4 beast.

Thanks Ivan

Well we have a 1.3 beetle engine now and gearbox so we now have to strip the fiat and weld in a sub frame to take the new engine. We are starting with a small 1.3 and once we have the car setup we are going for a 2.0 litre jobbie.

did you have to buy VW beetle engine mounts and then weld them in?
