Fiat 126 Seville front seat removal I don't get it
« on: September 24, 2018, 01:34:07 PM »
How do remove the front seats from the runners. Sorry if it's silly but I'm new to the 126.

I’m guessing that you have an orange coloured car!  ;)

To remove the seat, lift the small lever underneath and push back until it comes off of the runners. It’s easier if you sit in the seat to begin with whilst you get it far back enough. If it sticks, check that there is nothing e.g. carpet in the way and if necessary use some grease as well as elbow grease!

do the earlier models come off differently? On mine you have to push the seat forward (towards the windscreen) to get it off the runners.

Ha :D , you're right about elbow grease though- whichever way it comes off they can be a bit fiddly!
