headlining info
« on: February 11, 2018, 07:24:24 PM »
Hi,

just wondered if anyone has any advice re headlining

the headlining on my 126 bis has started to sag and the board has curved downwards - managed to push the board back up but the material is sagging

looked at the 126 bis manual and says remove sun visors and 3 screws at back and remove the headliner through rear

have seen a few videos on you tube re replacing material and gluing it down correctly once all the old stuff have been cleaned away

looked on one site and found material for 60 euros -  looked on ebay material varies in price

any thought

thanks

That's pretty much it - straight through the back. I did mine as it went exactly like yours did all saggy but the board in mine wouldn't pop back so I had to buy new board. I used 5mm hardboard but I don't recomend using it as its a tad too heavy and tries to bend itself down with its own weight. If your reusing your old board then it should be straight forward.

eBay. Just typed in car headlining material and went from there.
