Hi, My '81 126 has been on this Forum with it's previous owner. It's a beaut, and I'm doing a modest cosmetic tart-up job on it, starting with a reversion to the early chrome bumpers. It shares the garage with an original '68 500F which I've owned for 36 years. First car. And a Trekka, but I'll leave you to figure that one out. Unlike the 500 which we assembled around 5,000 of in NZ, the 126 came in fully built-up and only about 90 odd I think. So they are a bit unknown here. 500 enthusiasts might like to visit nzfiat500.com ... now there's a story. And apologies if I've broken an advertising rule. It looks a great Forum !
