Took the Silver to be fixed, the gears are not working properly, it only does 2nd, 3rd and 4th, no 1st and no reverse, I was hoping to get it back today but it looks like its going to be an overnight job. I miss it already.  :(

Nothing, but the pile of new parts is getting bigger and bigger. The engine that's going in has arrived, hopefully rebuild during the colder months.  The tinware, suspension parts are ready to be blasted and powder coated. I found a place to do the banded 12" Steels. I cant wait until the spring to start with the angle grinder.
with any luck I will meet my deadline of 2 years.  ;D

Sorted the Silver, the plastic gear selector bush had disintegrated, thankfully I had a rubber spare! There’s nothing more satisfying than having a spare part in stock that you actually use! We did not do the job right the first time though, the 13 mm fixing bolt came loose and the gear stick lifted out of the socket as I was driving! All good now and my little car is home safely!  ;)

I thought that small hole at the bottom of the spare wheel well was for drainage? :o

I was debating with myself when I was fixing the rust holes under the battery shelf whether I’d need the little drainage holes or not. My thought at the time was I’ll never take the little car out when it’s wet. I’ll maybe reinstate them [emoji848]

If it fills up with water it'll help keep the front end down on the straights  :P

Great work, Allan, there are 3 things that you need as a minimum when working on a 126, a jack, a set of axle stands and a mug of coffee so it’s great to see that you have all of those in your picture!  ;)

I had a great morning at the Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble today, quieter than normal but it was presale only so assume they're having to restrict numbers.

I know I threatened last time but we should organise a mini gathering there at the next one? I'll try and be on the ball when the tickets are being released.

A few extra photos thrown is as well.
