Value of cabrio.
« on: November 23, 2014, 02:09:17 PM »
I have a 1991 126 BIS POP2000. It's the cabrio verison.
New paint in 2010. But used 2 times since then.
Also new leather on the seats in 2010.
Cinq 700 engine, with supercharger (not monted now)

I'm thinking of selling, becuse I don't use it, and it just sitting there, maybe someone here is int?

Somebody know what the pricetag is on this? :)

Don't know the value of the car but if you want to sell the bis supercharger set up separately I'd be very interested!
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

Not sure on the value of these, but I know the 126Fan guys have one. Might be worth sending them an email to see what they think.

Cabrio in northern Europe in November ? Value ... er.. don't hold your breath! Mid-summer in Monaco, substantially higher.

Value on anything unique is highly variable and dependant on many factors, not least time, place, who happens to be in the market on the day and what other options might be open to them at the same time and place (and that's something you have no knowledge of or control over). Only real way to find out is at auction.

Why not put it on eBay at an undisclosed ridiculously high reserve price and see what anyone is prepared to pay. It will cost you the fees, of course, but any reliable valuation will always cost you a valuer's fee in one form or another. And if someone is prepared to offer a price you're prepared to accept, then you can sell.
