Fuse box - unidentified relays
« on: May 06, 2019, 01:39:42 PM »
Hi.

Does anyone know what the 2 relays are at each end of the fuse box, as they are not shown in the workshop manual.

Thanks.

If you mean the two outside the box i do not Know, but mine has them too, so i wish someone would shed some light on the subject. All I Know my First bis did not have them so they might be aftermarket. I plan to remove them once i re-install my wiring loom and see what happens.

p.s. try taking it out and see what does not work….  ;D

Yes, the 2 outside the box each end. The fact that the worshop manual doesn't show them suggests there was a design/revision change at some point, but the manual wasn't updated to refect the changes. Good idea, I'll give it a go at some point.
