Gear linkage bush
« on: August 26, 2019, 10:55:50 PM »
Hi guys what’s the best/easiest way to change the lower bush on my gear selector rod of my 89 bis, I lost reverse gear yesterday and the gear stick is all over the place, so I removed the gaitor to find the lower bush no longer in its circular cut out in the cage and what seems to have broken up!

Ordered a new one and should be here in next few days but was just wondering on best way to change it?

Cheers

You'll have to take the gear selector out and dismantle it to be able to change the bush. While you doing it check the condition of the bush where the rod exits the tunnel.
If you have a search on the forum there should be guide on how to do it.
