500 126 engine transplant

took the engine apart to clean it up , when i buy an engine from some one that s sold as complete i want complete ,
well sold as complete not .

bellows and bar missing  , does anyone have one

nut missing from  from Alternator


something missing from here too nice shinney threads where the bolts where
has anyone got one
condensor missing
on side of aternator  there seems to be some thing missing


gear box cleaned up well and oil topped up

first coat of black




air box lid and one clip missing too

now all built just need choke body and bellows and bearther lid

Hi Owen you are a sucker for punishment with these little motors but it is a love/hate relationship and we know you have done some great work. I think that you are talking about the fuel enrichment device that connects to the choke cable and is part of the carb on the 26 & 28 IMB carbs. An air filter top section and by bellows I guess that you mean the thermostat that operates the flap on the housing. I am sure that I can help you with the first two, maybe more, will have to have a rummage  :)

friends has a polish or confederate general
doing upholstery for him , in his workshop , so i got to bowwow him for a couple of hours , to help fit roof , with the help of me da , don  t no who  s harder to understand lol

Owen, great job on the 126 engine and box, it makes a good transplant in a 500. I have fitted a soft top to a Gamine, much easier than a moggy congrats. I have followed all you builds with great interest.
