www.retro500.com site updated
« on: June 28, 2008, 08:52:24 AM »
We have just finished updating the http://www.retro500.com site and made it easier for us to add new cars in future. We have added Mike Kason's genuine Giannini 650np race car along with George, from Canada's Abarth 500 (with some great bodywork build pics) and Alistair from New Zealand 's Subaru 1800 'work in progress'

For 126 owners we have added an 'other modified Fiats' section which we would like to include the best of the modified 126 air and water cooled cars (that includes you stuey)

There is also a new forum area (very early days on this one) for engine tuning and engine swap discussion.

I hope you enjoy, and if you have a car that you think should be featured, please email me at [email protected]

Hi Mick

Pull your finger out man!!!! it should be up and running by now...

glad you like the sump, I cant believe how much effort it is to make a proper one, its taken longer than re-building the rest of the engine!

I'm almost ready to fit it back in, with a bit of luck we will see 110+bhp
Not sure the box is going to last long

I have posted the details of the CV joints on the retro500forum (http://retro500.proboards102.com/), in fact its the only post on there, I'm 'Nigel-no-mates' at the moment. Feel free to join and contribute

The Italian guy decided the day before he was due to start working here that he wanted to go back to Italy so never started but I will ask Mike (with the Giannini race car) if he knows them. when I see him in a few weeks.

You're not alone any more. I am officially the 5th member! I would put my car on, but it is rather unsightly and would lower the standard of the website dramatically!
