Innocenti 126
« on: February 18, 2018, 08:52:19 AM »
Would these wheels fit a Fiat 126 aircooled car either early model or later edition?

https://www.ebay.it/itm/MINI-INNOCENTI-MINI-DE-TOMASO-RARI-CERCHI-CMR-5x12-OLD-STOCK/122954710751?hash=item1ca0abfedf:g:kawAAOSwI~taeg-t

If not, what modifications would be required to make them work?

They would only fit the later 98pcd wheels with wobble bolts so not ideal  :)

I would have thought not as I thought the mini innocenti was based on the BMC/Leyand mini which I'm sure is an imperial PDC size like 4x101. That said though if you look at a classic mini wheel the studs look further apart than the ones in the innocenti wheels so maybe they were metric for the Italian market

The wobble bolts I have seen will not cover the 3.5mm difference here.

Its a straightfoward job, get them offset drilled at TT Tools in Essex and use wobbly tuner bolts they have a smaller 60 degree taper .

Mine are mini wheels and they sorted these out no problem, fit perfect, remember to get the centre bore altered whilst your having the boilt holes done,
