1 month - 1000miles
« on: January 29, 2009, 10:36:07 PM »
on the first of januarry my 126 was put back into service after fiting a new gearbox in the december snow! [-/

anway, i hit the trip meter to ooo miles, and tonight when i parked it was at 978miles, so tomoro on my way to work i will have done 1000 memorable miles which include:

 exhaust fallen off
 exhaust welded and refitted
 exhaust fallen off
 new exhaust fitted
cut out every night after 5 miles for a week, only to start after 5 min and running fine again!
going really slow some days [not reaching above 40]
going realy fast some days [going over 55]
going side ways round roundabouts [un gritted roads late at night [-/ ]
trying to fit a vespa scooter engine in the car,but it had to go on the passanger seat, and my mate in the back seat!
breaking down on hills without a handbrake
backfiring exhaust when i turn it off if i give it a good rev first  :D [that womans face!]
trying to find an empty trolly bay at tesco to park in

so thats just some of my first 1000 miles of 2009, and i hope the next loadare just as crazzy!!

ps: someone asked if it was a mini tonight  >:(

I had a Ducati motorbike that suffered from freezing carbs...
And that was in africa!
Must be something to do with the mixture perhaps?

I was younger and broke-er so just rode the bike like that and accepted it  ;)
