BIS clutch drivin plate in aircooled

was i dreaming or did i read on here about fitting a bis drivin plate into an aircooled clutch?........i like the idea of the springs in the bis bit,takes the shock from shifting,but,does it work?anyone done this? my A/C engine on the bench,and new bis clutch siiting on the shelf........................

yes you did read it, I've done it or rather did it years ago. and yes it works well, there was a noticable improvement.
