DONE A BIT MORE WORK INSIDE MY BABY! ZAVVY!

My friend made me up a Zastava Plate!

Tidied the parcel shelf and installed (temp) two shelf mount speakers

Took off the fibre glass dash to reval a orange steel one (bingo!) cut a hole out with a jigsaw and popped in a buget stereo! woo hoo

Made a start on protecting the floors with underselant! nearly ready for carpets and door cards to go on!

Ok cant wait untill the insides finished so we can work on the outside, need a set of bucket seats... then alloys!!!

Ive been away a few days.
Nice to see all the work going on, youre really into this, wery nice.
Thats a real strip-tease

One thing I wouldnt do is drill the dash (I got this thing about preserving the original state of the car   ) could have just hung it under it, thats how they used to do it, but anything that makes you happy....

Is it me or is this the biggest resto project on the forum currently, and its not even a 126 :smt017

Like I said before, most parts of the 126 shouuld fit into the 750, so should the runners.... They even had the same seats, so u can look one up on a locar scrapheap, if your junkyards keep such cars, and if u really want to.........

Yes i suppose they are... nothing an angle grinder could not handle i suppose. for nowi think ill bolt a subframe to the floor...

Today i finished the floor, painted the door insides to protect them, finished off the painting i did yesterday and fitted my new wooden gearknob (got a wheel to match).

Then i got tempted in to fitting the rear unit id started to build out of carpet and MDF... No luck as the sun has gone down and im off to work... bye

The rails are bolted to the floor, (at least mine are????)

Here's a pic from the manual, clearly showing it can be removed by remowing the bolts..

So you put back the red shelf... why didnt you re paint it?
