Well ive just given her a 7  :D  Only thing that lets it down for me is the blue wheels but then again it is a bit unique with the blue wheels.

Engine work and interior win through for me!

Well done Dave  :)

nothing wrong with blue wheels; Surtees 1964 Ferrari 158 had blue wheels and he won the world champianship with it. and if its good enough for surtees its gotta be good enough, after all he did win 8 world champianships

I like the ferrari conection better, especailly as FIAT now owns it :) Got my mirrors at last, got to change the drivers door before i fit them though. Been checking out the pictures of your car (i've saved all from this thread) and nhotice how much better your wheels "fit" compared to mine:

what size wheels and tyres are your using, other than the documented changes to the frone suspesion other than lowering are there any other mods and are there any fouling problems?

cheers

EDIT: i just seen on an old thread you have the same size tyres as me; 165/55 13s, and i guess your wheels are the same as mine at 5.5

hi Bruce, yes same size as yours,5 1/2jx13''but mine are from the rear wheel drive 131 mirafiori.a better off set that front drive 'cinq ones.
a guy localy has 175's on his with 0 rated pirellis tho(on a 126)

they are cromodora cd11 rims, sometimes on ebay, used to be reasonable £ but a lot of polish lads are buying them for thier 125's...

there are diff pattern cromos fitted to those cars (131's),i dont know the code number tho for them..cd 11 gets you the bang on rim tho, original bolts fit as well, very slight fouling on full lock on the INNER wing,it just polishes the underseal off.there is a better pic in the neg camber thread of the 'fit'

yes i see, so the different offset of your wheels means they do not "stick out" as much as mine, and are a bit more so to speak inside the wheel arches?

Once i start driving mine i am sure it will settle a little though as it is still suffering being tucked under from jacking up to change the wheels.

Do you know if X1/9 wheels would have the same offset as mine or yours?

i dont know bruce, but id say they would, being as the x/19 is basicly 128 bits nailed together under that pretty bertone body, so would have frontwheel drive off sets?...... next time mine are off i'll measure the off set for you.

im not to keen on the flat/prominint hub look,i prefer the dished look of the cd 11's....justa 70's boy at heart, brought up on ford 5 1/2 j rostyles  etc etc etc, thats why i prefer, say,a 1962 ferrari 250 SWB over any new 355 etc etc, those deep boranis do it for me everytime!!!

Love the car to bits. I think white wheels would look better but what do I know?
I would get rid of the guttering.

But still gave it a 10, it is really the dogs dangly bits.

When do we get to see it in the flesh? really hope to see it in the spring or do we all need to do a Jersey cruse??? Jersey invaded by 126s, could be good.

Great car keep up the good work.
I love the red jersey lobster on the boot :)
