Tapatalk plugin
« on: December 19, 2011, 01:07:22 PM »
Hi Pete,

Just wanted to ask if you have considered installing the Tapatalk plugin on your forum?
I run a phpBB forum and the installation was childsplay. It enables android iphone & iPad users to browse & post directly from an app on their devices.

Have a look here:
http://tapatalk.com/forum/showthread.php?p=14207

It is much faster & easier than using the browser on those devices.

PS for those of you that don't know what it looks like or how it works on a phone/ipad.

It's customizable so you don't need the "Sent from" stuff..

activated ...but the plugin will not install. "Not Installed Server Error (1)"
I will look into the problem when I get a chance.

Hi Chris,

It hasn't been working for some time now.

Has it been re-enabled on the web side? There is a way to verify on the site.

Sorry but for some reason the tapatalk will not reinstall and work.  I have spent hours trying to sort this out and tapatalk support is a waste of time.
There have also been reported security issues with this mod, so at the moment I have deceided not to reinstall this mod :(
