How to Post pictures using a Photo Hosting Site

How to post pics: A simple guide

Hosting your pictures

First you need to host pics, or have them online already. Hosting your own pics can be done at a number of sites.

The following is a list of other hosts and can be quite useful but I only have a very small amount of experience using the alternatives listed below:

http://postimage.org/

http://imageshack.us/

http://www.flickr.com/

So the first step is to join a Photo Hosting Company.

(Instructions for Photobucket)

Once Registered and logged in – The Default size, 640 x 480 for this Forum, then either create an album if you like to keep photos of different cars, events, Family separate, or have a nice big simple bucket.

To Upload Images click on the "Upload Images" Button.

Select directory.

Select the image/images you want to upload from your PC Folder By highlighting the thumbnails, Once selected the upload starts automatically, Wait for them to upload.

A box will appear where you can Title and Tag your Photos or you can just return to your album.

Once you return to your album, move your mouse (pointer) over the thumbnail, and a drop down panel will appear,
Move the pointer to the bottom of the list to IMG Code, Right click and copy the Link,
Paste the link into your post on a separate line, leaving a one line space between your links,

When finished Hit the Preview button and your Photos should appear in the preview box,

Then Hit the post button when you have finished Writing your text.
