Just relised i never posted any pics of my 126

Brought it fon ebay for ?60 because the guy said he had a spare engine, went to pick it up and the guy tells me he 'cant find' the spare engine (basicly he couldent be arsed to move some junk in his garage to get it out) so knocked him down to ?40

The shells beyond repair, in the passes its been in a shunt and the drivers side bodywork is full of filler, as you can see theres rust just about everywhere.

So far ive stripped down the trim and interior leaving just the mechanical bits. Im going to use the shell to mock up some lowering mods i want to do so i dont mess up a good shell if i get it wrong. In the meantime im looking for a rust free shell to replace it and maybe one for a everyday driver aswell. 8)

Slater is it really beyond repair? it look so nice when you can see past the rust. That was a cheak what he did though about the engine, did you leave him bad feedback

Well heres what it would need

Front panel
Spare wheel well
2x wings
2x sills
2x rear quaters
Bonnet
Engine cover
Passenger door
4x screen corners
Driverside b-post
+ more when you start pulling it about

Supprisingly the floor is in pretty good nick :?

Its not totaly beyond repair but its definaly not economical, would take years work and probably not far off ?1000 in panels/materials (trust me ive done it to a mini before and live to regret it!)

I dont like to see it scrapped but atleast a good 90% of the parts will get reused in other cars its not just going to be melted down.

I never attualy left him feedback, i wanted to leave nutral explaining what happend (he did knock the price down for me) but it wasent woth the risk that he would neg me in retaliation like nearly allways happens! :x After i got home i did find a spare cylinder head, pair of barrels and carb in the front so it wasent all bad.
