Well not a 126 but my GAMINE with 126 engine, gearbox and other subtle upgrades. Rolled it out of the garage just over, not been run since last year, a week ago to check over for MOT. She started up easily and all electrics worked without some fetteling, first time ever. Put her back in the garage, just had a hip replacement therefore not able to drive. Angela said she would drive it to the MOT station on Monday so got the wee beastie out on Sunday for a final check, paranoid or what, good job as the near side dip would not work. I was getting about 9-10 volts at the bulb connection but when we switched the lights on the voltage disappeared. So major voltage drop on this supply, too many wires to trace location of corrosion, probable cause. I spliced into the circuit for the off side dip as a temporary fix, we don't generally drive at night. She passed with flying colours with only one advisory, an oil leak from the sump gasket. Only another 2-3 weeks before I am allowed to drive again just in time for the forcast good weather.
