I have finally fitted the slightly tweaked engine back in the Brown. Fingers crossed I`ll have a fully working car soon.
I should really start a thread on this one :$

got it back from the garage. Passed it's MOT with no advisories.

I should hope so considering they've been working on it here and there since November!
10 hours labour engine rebuild, new clutch, new spark plugs, waterless coolant, oil service and MOT... just short of £800

VERY long time since I've been on here, but this week my 126 has been outdoors for the first time since 2003, and has moved to our new house round the corner  :D

Wired a double car socket into the frunk and then ran power from it through to my new 12 quid dash cam and my boom box on the back seat!

So like way too many hours of wiring.

Also fixed the passenger door lock, hoovered, waxed, found out my boss kit don't fit and snapped my wing mirror in half

Fiddled with idle settings and replaced ht leads. Yellow! Although they are a tad long.

Day before i removed a racing stripe and had to clean off the sticky residue!  >:(
Took hours and scratched the paint. Will buff out though.

I finally fixed the wipers after the passenger side spindle broke off, due to plastic fatigue.

It is a minor job ticked off the lengthening list of work that needs doing.

I fixed the radio, changed the fog light and the left outside mirror and installed new seat springs and pedal covers.

Good day today. Makes me happy

Drove from Glasgow to John O'Groats, and the BIS did NOT like it  :P

The journey involved multiple stops as the engine every so often would randomly start kangarooing, but continue on once I stop and restart. Filter had fuel in it, think original pump will need replaced perhaps.

Plus now it cuts out when the revs are low. Urghhh

Still, I can now perhaps claim to be the most northerly 126!
