Title: 126 Bis carpet
Post by: 126redbomb on November 02, 2019, 04:00:50 PM
Hi to all, I want to buy a new carpet for my Bis but on Ebay it says not for Bis  Why won't it fit ::)

It will fit it’s just it’s probably a one piece carpet instead of the 5 individual pieces that the BIS one is. I’ve got the one piece carpet in mine and it fitted but needed slight modifications because it was for a LHD car so need a hole cutting for the throttle pedal and removal of material under the handbrake centre console. Other than that it went in good enough. My advice though would be to by a quality one. I think I paid £50 for mine and it’s not the best material. If I did it again i’ld spend at least £100

Cheers Gadge :thumbup It's £90 on ebay but I can't find anything else at the moment. Anyway it has got to be better than mine, it needs a deep clean. Or I could just wait...  ::)

I made a new carpet for my old bis. The 5 piece carpet is easy enough to copy....

Hi Gordon, I couldn't see your carpet. I notice you stripped the seat down but how it looks now. To be honest I'm not to hot on Instagram/Facebook stuff.
