should do, make sure the paint is fully intact as Mag wheels quickly turn to white power, and keep them away from fire as they burn very easily.
I seem to remember from school science lessons that magnesium burns on contact with water! but the wheels are incredibly light, much lighter than alloy wheels.

yep, they do corrode easily when scratched etc, older ones are showing pitting around badly applied weights etc, easy to rectify tho,bead/low pressure sand blast them clean, fill any blemishes with P38 or similer, use an etching primer then just refinish to your liking,i used enamel paint to finish mine...at £70 for the set of four with tyres i did not mind a little effort to sort them out........

Think the ones im watching on ebay in germany are reproductions so im not sure if they are magnessium. I had a lot of fun with magnessium in science lessons (and out if i managed to sneak out a bit of the ribbon!) Think they might end up being too pricey but he will send them for 35 euros!

pink is good mick, been chasing that since 14 years old..... :P ....paint,a good one to use is ''plasti coat ' (b an q do it,) enamel, thats on mine, doesnt chip or scratch and is easy to apply/change colour.
IMHO its worth paying a bit more and doing some refurb for these rims, hardly any(if any) of the bling rims out there are magnesium, and weight is the biggest enemy of the GO-FASTER 650 126,the 5 1/2 j x 13''cd 11 is also lighter than the standard rim,on four wheels,i reckon it gives me another 1 'virtual' BHP.
also rolling resistance is a factor, thats why I only have 165 tyres (you can still get the ''chunky'' look when its lowered) the car handles well with standard sizes,so i dont think it needs much wider,in fact even the 165's make it more liable to spin in the wet.......and i also check pressures as much as i do on my bikes.

theres a tale i have pirellis on my cinq rims and found myself slidding on round abouts  in the wet i have taken them off and am running with stock tyres and dont get the spinning or slidding . strange.....however in a straight line its like normal 126 handling.  are your tyres with good tread cos i have fiund the pirellis to start lacking grip mid life .

they do look good, they also look like they have front drive offset, like cinq wheels?,(have you ever seen a 410 suzuki jeep fitted with vitara wheels???,wider yes,but less offset, vitaras have wider axles) it might be worth asking what car they were on originaly, and if after market, what car were they fitted to.
i must measure mine when next off the car.....

I asked him what they were off but he just told me the size again.  Not sure whether to bother or not, might end up being quite a big waste of money!

blimey they are nice,

are they borrani's?

Dimension: 5 1/2J x 13 J, polt pattern 4x98mm, offset 18mm

they were used on x1/9's so they would fit, just worried about the 5.5J

Yeah im not sure about that, might have to end up getting the arches rolled but hopefully i can get tires which will mean i dont have to.  Think i will risk buying them if they dont get really expensive.
