lightened flywheel/and other questions
« on: February 03, 2007, 12:20:02 PM »
hi guys,i want to lighten and re-balence the flywheel on the buzzbomb,im looking for some tech advice here, how much is safe to take off for a street motor?? and where can i get this done properly? and if its possible to get done, has anyone a spare 650 flywheel for sale so i can get it done before pulling the motor out??(and save sending the flywheel to the uk) and does anyone have one already done sitting on a shelf??

cheers

yes mick, good idea, must be lots of tuned fiat motors either scrapped or laying around, but all my attempts at contact come to nothing, blitz racing is finished i think, its now mini based and called somthing different.....at least thats stops them cutting up fiats i guess

You have to do it with the crank, clutch, oil filter together othewise it will be more oiut of ballance than it is now. The cranks and flywheels were matched at the factory. There is a place called vibration free who do them for Middle Barton, I will see if I can find their number, also will dig out the number of the guy I used.
