I used my old aircooled to pick up a new engine for my Merc, i removed the pasenger seat and the 2.8 litre straight 6 just fitted in, it was about a 100 mile trip and the little blue car managed it without a hitch. the car was then used to transport the engine from the merc to my garage and they to transport the rebuilt engine back. When the fiat's engine needed moving i used my sons scatboard to remove the engine, bit easier than the crane needed to lift the Mercs motor.
