Dave

Is this the part? My twin dellortos had two soft mounts joined together but I think these ones work in pairs.

Art code: M018
Elastic spacer
For Ø 40/40 carburettor

You have hit one of the problems of twin chokes on the aircooled, the carbs stick out a long way and the vibration soon does for the soft mounts – I'm not sure about what you can do to avoid it in the future.

thats the parts nigel.........however,they want bank transfer of funds=£35.00+postage of 40 euro+ the parts  ......im just not prepared to pay that much.
they will not take credit card or pop in the normal signed for post.

all ''normal'' suppliers seem to just stock the 'misab' style, too solid methinks....i can see the carb mounts cracking with those

well, carb on/carb off.............made a great top tin replacement to take the new linkage, and added a new version of the carb support id made, this one has a mini cotton reel rubber mount, only problem is-first one lasted 70 odd miles, second one failed today at 12 miles.........

i think im gna make somthin out of a valve spring or something next............

hey chris, did i?.....sorry if i did, anyway,im just in from the workshop with the prototype, using a bis inner valve spring cut down and  two sleeved valve spring top hats to cage it.......gna fab it up at work to moz.........

apart from the 40 dcoe's desire to part company with the motor, and a tendency for it to spit foamed fuel out of the bowl vent, its all going rather well................................ the 12 miles i achieved today were to the sound of the weber induction roar and the howl of my twin pulling 6k thro the big bore sport exhaust......magic................

ok........the inner valve spring idea looked fab......but,was not up to the job at all....the vibrations just overcame the spring.......anyhoo......i've now fab'd up a bis rear engine mount spring in its place......lets see how this goes!

yer the engine valve spring, was probably too rigid, the engine mount sounds better.

will you be using the engin mount rubbers too?
