Quarter light frames
« on: February 11, 2016, 08:19:38 PM »
Think I was had a little when I got my little 500 in kit form as it seems nearly impossible to find replacement frames for the quarter light windows. Not the flashy chrome thing but the bit that goes around all that that allows it to bolt to the door. Anyone any ideas on how to obtain or copy one?

Finally found two quarter light windows for my 500, it's only taken a few years!

Anyone wanting to get into a 500 project is well advised to make sure you have the quarter light window frames as the frame that bolts to the door it like unicorn horn.

I guess you could modify a 126 one but really not my thing.

Another thing I'm failing with is a rear seat but hey ho I'll get there eventually I guess just might be much greyer.

I recently was rushed into hospital with internal bleeding which is still a mystery so whatever happens, seat or no seat I'm just happy to be alive :)

Hi Darrell
Hope that you are now well or back on the road to recovery. You should have flagged up your wanted ad as I think I have two pairs of these up in my shed  :)
