Windscreen!

Hi guys,

Having just removed my windscreen before some paint prep, I noticed an external scratch plus some grinding burns! I have cleaned as best I can but not perfect, some questions:-

1. Will it fail an MOT?
2. Is a new windscreen best do you think?
3. Can you still get them?
4. Has anyone got a spare? (1981 model)

you can get glass polishing kits to remove scratches from wiper marks etc,iv used these in past where new glass isnt a option and worked great,maybe worth doing if you cant get a replacement cheap or easy
