Hey Tommy, i look forward to seeing how you get on too, i am interested in the whole tuning thing as well as long as its tasteful.  ACM did a really nice job with one of their projects.  It was lowered with flared arches and chrome bumpers.  Each to their own i say, everyone should relax, we are not going to run out of aircooled 126's, Poland is full of them (thats where mine is from!)  I do agree with leaving the old ones alone though.

Oh and to everyone, does anyone know where i can get a chrome filler cap like the original 126's, i emailed gerstl because i couldn't see any on their site but if anyone has one i would be most interested.

Cheers guys.

Yeah they are the larger intakes like on the bis.  Im not sure if it had these originally 'cause i didn't fit them.  Mine is a Polski Fiat from '91 so maybe they used these on some of their aircooled 126's.

yer they seemed to do things like that, i think it depends where they were made, the ones for the czech had the bracket holes for the BIS bumpers. suppose you could change them, for a few quid but looks good!

i have some spare from the bis in the yard,i was thinking it might improve airflow..........there is quite a ''draw/suction'' from the fan thro the standard vents,it means cutting the body tho,not keen on that realy, but you ever know...................
