decided to do some inside stuff today - the dash...

here it is all hole tastic-

I have welded up nearly all the holes (ran out of gas on my enormo bottle- time for a refill)

but what of that big hole in the centre you ask?
well you may note is nearly identical to a popular smartphone made by a company that sounds like "smapple"
plan is to use a gps app to give me a speedo and it will be linked to a hidden amp and speakers for tunes and a pikey digital dash so-

i just need to resize the hole slighty....

Weldathon continued-
Work stopped for a while due to my welding gas running out but i have a nice new big bottle so decided to make a start on the  "LITTLE" hole on the drivers side floor-

when i cut this out it decided to take the bottom of the sill out-

so it was off  with the sill and a bigger hole in the floor-

2 days cutting welding and prepping later we have new floor, inner sill -

and new outer-

lots more to come!

I'll stick to the bmx's - although the offer is an interesting one I have bruised my pride way too many times on skateboards to want another.

thanks for the encouragement- i hope to have all the other holes filled on friday- then the weldathon becomes a grinder-thon  :(

progress has been slow of late due to a complete loss of mojo with the project but this last week I decided to try and soldier on- I have welded all the trim holes under the bonnet, reprofiled the lip on the front arches so I dont destroy another set of tyres and knot brush the floor.. mainly because my welder died(big job this- I have killed 3 brushes already! heres a few shiny metal pics...

I am totally embarrassed to say that I have a Mig welder and a hole in my floor about 4" square. I am avoiding welding the hole as I have never used a Mig welder (gas at school).

The car remains with no MOT as I am worried about 'melting the car'.
