Which steering wheel boss?
« on: December 11, 2018, 01:01:19 PM »
I have a 1990’s 126 from Poland.
The Momo boss catalogue lists the boss for a Fiat 126 as number MK4014.

I’ve sourced this boss and it doesn’t fit !

I’ve noticed there appear to be 2 types of spline on 126’s, a coarse & a fine - the difference is obvious in photos.
My car has the fine splines as does the boss but the splines don’t line up - and none of the splines appear damaged.

Could it be the Polish cars used different columns?
Any ideas anyone?

I got a 126p wheel for mine (as it was damaged).
It was the exact same fit. Fine splines.

Thanks - it sounds like the boss is wrong.

Anyone fitted an after market steering wheel?
