Electronic ignition for Bis

Shout out to everyone in the club
I would like to know once and for all if it is actually possible to install an electronic start for the Bis. I would love to use my car but it is so unpredictable it is driving me insane.

Hi Colin, sorry you do mean electronic ignition, just noticed your post heading...🙄

It seems you can fit one to the bis....I've just acquired another bis which has already got it fitted, I've not taken much notice tbh, but will say it fires up much better than my other one which has the standard ignition system fitted.....

Cheers I knew I'd asked the question before but I just couldn't find my old post
I got fed up with trawling through to find it.
I need to get the electronic ignition done now my car has MOT otherwise it will run out again before getting off the drive🤣

yes i got mine running ok , i still have to car but its been of the road a bit now as ive done work on the brakes ( disc conversion) and a few other hidden mods but i  want to have it back on the road this year

I have finally fitted the Accuspark Dead easy to do and it works a treat, I wish I did it years ago
