Camber Issues
« on: March 31, 2016, 04:09:29 PM »
I've got a flat leaf spring on the front of my bis and there's quite alot of camber on the passenger sides wheel, but the drivers side wheel has none at all. Is there anyway I can get the drivers side looking like the passenger side??
Thanks

camber Mod the arms or take/add some washers from behind them on the side that hasn't got enough camber...but if you just fitted it and its different you might would be asking why perhaps (no offence ) you might want to check its fitted properly, also have you driven it- I might take a little while to settle?
one resprayed and another arrives- double trouble BIS style!!

Thanks, I'll check that it's fitted properly. It's not been driven but it has been sat for quite a while

Are you experiencing positive or negative camber?
Which are you trying to achieve?

My standard car has a fair bit of positive camber, most people seem to want negative for more cornering grip

It's negative camber I'm wanting to match with the back. One wheel has quite alot of camber and the other just has none
Thanks

Well its shims to start with, as has already been said, but if you have taken off all the shims and you still want more negative camber, there's a part you can fit that moves the location of the arm so it can lean in even more. I think Ricambio sell it.
