Fitting non fiat Alloy wheels
« on: June 11, 2017, 05:02:52 PM »
I've been looking for a set of ruspa alloys for a few years and have had to admit defeat!
I have bought a set of cosmic alloys which are 12' x 5' with a 4' pcd. They were a bit messy and the photos weren't great on the eBay listing so I got them for a good price.

I've acquired a blasting cabinet so I can clean them myself. It works OK on the alloys but it's not very good on steel. I think the nozzle may be a bit worn so I'll have to replace it soon.
Here is the first wheel blasted

The pcd is 101.3mm and I need it to be 98mm so I plan on having the wheels Re drilled. There is plenty of material on the back of the wheel and the pattern allows for the extra holes.

I've drawn up a program for it so the very kind guys in my cnc department can machine them.

I am aware of wobble bolts but I do not intend to use them.
