What's my 8,700 mile 126 Worth?
« on: May 24, 2018, 10:47:42 AM »
I have owned my car for approx 20 years now. It's 1988, genuine UK supplied new, got under 9000 miles. Garaged all its life and in very good useable condition. Just passed MOT with zero advisories.
Wondering what it's worth please, as I may have to sell due to lack of stage space?

Wow! It sounds beautiful, always hard to answer valuation questions but if it's RHD, the condition is good and it's original then I would set a reserve at £3,000. Interesting to see if the other chaps agree or go higher or lower.

If you can upload pictures and confirm original colour it will help.

It's Rossi Corsa colour. UK RHD, still has original rear plate with dealer name on it! To be honest with the miles I don't think I'd be letting it go as cheap as £3K....

Bar Vitelli's right, probably about £3-4k assuming it's a BIS.

Really need pictures and how good the body repairs you had done in the past were.
one persons mint is another persons project.
Best way of pricing is Pop it on Ebay. Prices go up and down, but this is the time of year when they are usually highest as the shows start and people looking for a summer toy.

It is indeed!

Had agreed a sale at £4750 to a so called dealer who then disappeared and wouldn't return correspondence..... total time waster

It's never had much in the way of body repairs and never had floor welded etc. Tbh its a long long time since it's seen rain nevertheless road salt!

There was a 1988 white Fiat Bis with a similar mileage on Car and Classic (also on ebay) selling to £10k. It was reduced to £9K. It disappeared.

The was one that recently sold (also a white Bis) for c. £6k with even lower mileage!

If you are not in a rush to sell, you can try to sell it at your asking price.
