« on: August 01, 2010, 06:56:48 PM »
Hi i have a 1983 126 which i find the roof height a little low/awkward when driving, does anybody know if there are suitable drivers seats i could use which will fit the runners so i can be lower in the car?? :D

If you have the use of a welder, I took the front seats from a nova GTE and welded the 126 rails on. They had a bit of lumbar support and brought the seat height down by about 4". While it was a bit more awkward getting in and out, it was great on long journeys, very comfy! Took a bit of work to fit them in though. Any small hot hatch will have a useable set of front seats if you can find them at the scrappy.
