BIG WHEELS on a 126

i'm thinkin of gettin a 126 again, and i was wondering what wheels to fit.I got a set of 195 15" alloys of my marea which i think will fit? its this a wise step or will it look plain stupid? has anyony gone this big before?

It'l look stupid imo.

They probably wont fit without huge changes to the bodywork anyway.

I reckon the easyest way to get nice wheels on a 126 is to use 100mmpcd wheels from VWs/Opels with some of those 'wobbly nuts' to make them fit the fiat 98mm stud pattern. Nice wheels in 98mm pcd are nearly non existant. :(

15" wheels would only looks good if they had a VERY low profile tyre on them, with lowered suspension. which would all mean pulling and rolling the wheel arches.

just adding big wheels to a car and not lowering the suspension always makes the car look likes its got 4X4 suspension! the car would appear very high off the ground.

like slater said. try looking for some 14" allows from a VW polo or Golf (mk1 and mk2 golfs/golf gti's mainly came with 14" wheels).

dont forget to check the offset/ET is you are getting some wheels!
